Great bag!

My last bag was ready for replacement so I started browsing around to see if I should try something new. I decided to go with the Bannatyne hybrid bag and I'm really glad I did. Very comfortable under the arm, good drone placement and *super* easy to "tie-in."

I fought the use of synthetic bags for many years. I never liked the feel. After trying these bags I changed my mind and now play two sets with hybrid bags and one standard. Easy to install, and keep air tight. nice feel and the WMC size works well for me.

I am very happy with this bag. Changed over from a hide bag and have been very pleased thus far. Also the positioning of the drones (McCallum size)has improved my comfort level while playing. The airtightness of the bag is perfect. The only draw back would be position of the blowpipe stock. It's a bit far away for my taste. Cheers!

Bannatine bag in record time.

I ordered this item on a Saturday evening at about 11 pm and recived it the following Tuesday morning. And i chose Standard mail as a delivery option. I was impressed that it took just over 60 hours for delivery. Bag was in great shape. No problem mounting stocks. Great people to deal with.

A: The bag is a dark (black) color, and is the same price as the other sized Bannatyne bags. The zipper on the Willie McCallum cut is on the bottom of the bag.

Q: I am 5'4" tall. I bought a bagpipe set with a medium sized bag. I am not having much success in playing it though. I wonder if I should have a smaller bag? What size would you recommend? extended small or small?

A: Yes, for a person 5’4” I would recommend an extended small bag. It will give your left arm more freedom and deduce tension on your tendons on your left hand by riding a bit higher on your arm.

Q: What is the difference between the small and extended small? Which is better for short arms and short fingers?

A: The extended small is a little larger in girth, and longer. It displaces much more air than the small. Typically we suggest the extended small.

A: It will fit most generic medium bag covers. We do have a cover maker who can make them to specifically fit the Willy McCallum cut pipe bag.

Q: I've had two of these bags, and both started to leak around a seam at about 24 months old. What is the warranty period on these bags, and how long should I reasonably expect it to last? I'm considering a Gannaway hide bag but I like the Willie McCallum bag, and it's half the price of a Gannaway.

A: Bannatyne provides a 2 year warranty for these bags. We generally get 4 or 5 years lifespan out of this bag with regular playing.

A: You may only to "recharge" the tone enhancers. Please check out the Tone Enhancer Refill Kit"

A: We stock the bag with the side zipper, but can get the bottom zip for you in a couple of day's time. Just mention it in the comments section during the checkout process. The WIlly McCallum bag only comes with the bottom zip.

A: The Willy McCallum bag is only available with the bottom zip. The other sizes we typically stock with a side zip, but can get them in about 2 days time. Just mention that you would like a bottom zip in the comments section during checkout.
