Long Practice Chanter with Cocobolo Chanter Body with Imitation Ivory Sole, Plastic Top with Stainless Steel Ferrell, Gibson Practice Chanter Reed.

Q: Are the holes spaced similarly to a full pipe chanter? My old Dunbar plastic PC's holes are close together, which makes it hard to go back and forth from it to the pipe chanter.

A: The holes do mimic the spacing on the bagpipe chanter better than most chanter!

Q: I have another question. I'm getting back into the pipes after 35 years. My lung strength isn't what it was. I'm going to try the Gibson reed, but do you have others you would recommend for this chanter? I saw this chanter reviewed on Matt Willis's Youtube and loved the tone. Thanks, Dave

A: The Gibson and the Pro Flow reed works very nicely with this chanter. The GIbson will take less air than the pro flow, but you can reduce the air flow on either of these chanters with an elastic band.
