First things first. A leaky bagpipe bag can cause a wide variety of playing issues before it's necessarily noticed. Take a moment to verify that your current bag is airtight.
If you're airtight, fantastic. Great first step. If you are losing air, check all of your stock connections and check out this video to try to find the issue:
Sometimes there's simply no coming back from a leaky bag and it must be replaced. Before you take that step, see if you can repair:

Haven’t play my pipes in 5 years. The flap in the pipes below the blow pipe is stuck shut and I can’t blow air into the bag. What do you recommend? Thank You Stan
