Purpose made for Bagpipes, it offers superior resistance to heat, moisture, humidity and cold.
Each roll is 5 metres * 11mm, very thin so you hardly feel it on the chanter, clear so it's unnoticed by others and can be reapplied many times.
Tunetape leaves minimal residue and won't damage your pipe chanter or clog the holes.

Good product
O really like this chanter tape, I was previously using an electrical style tape and during the summer and humid days the glue on the back of the tape would melt and slide around. So the notes on my chanter would go to sharp or to flat all the time. When I would replace the tape it would leave this sticky residue and it would be harder to play, and I would have to clean my chanter all the time. this tape holds on the chanter very nicely. I haven't had to replace any tape on my chanter since I initially put it on. The tape is virtually invisible to. I cant even see the tape from a few feet away. 5/5 would buy again.

I am sorry for any confusion with this product. The tape its self is "clear", but the reel that it is on is blue.

Jon, do you have specific experience with this product? I'm on a quest for something to replace the standard electrical tape that I'm currently using. Is this product superior to that in that the adhesive does not break down as quickly or leave as much mess?

Yes, I do use it quite a bit. The glue on the tape does not get nearly as gooey as the glue on the back of electrical tape. It tends to last much longer then the electrical tape as well!

The reel that the tape is on is blue, but the tape is clear!
