Bought this reed for my Walsh poly practice chanter (long)...and it is absolutely terrible. Squeals more than any other PC reed I've tried and sounds terribly out of tune. Unless you're in a pinch, or on a super tight budget, I would recommend going with a different PC reed!

Just OK
I have used this in the RG Hardie Twist Trap PC and although it tuned well, it is very soft and any amount of gusto will cause it to shut off. Perhaps good for a small person or someone that can't blow hard for long periods of time....but I think most will be happier with something a different reed. overall tone is fine...mellow and balanced.

Hello. Is your "Q" practice chanter reed the same as the "QI" reed by Piper's Choice? Asking because they're both green, narrow-blade reeds with "Q" in the name. Thanks
