It started off as a bit of a gut buster, though it has a bold and loud sound makes for an excellent reed. It definitely lets you know that you got the sound right, or made a mistake!

Great Reed for a strong blower
I really like this reed. I was closing out the standard reed and this opened my eyes to the reed world. Would recommend to any strong blower.

Very good reed, I use it in a McCallum Long Chanter. I didn't find it anymore difficult to use than the Gibson's I normally use.

Great Reed, Recommended.
I have been using my ProFlo reed for about 6 months now, and I love it. It recently started cutting out and went very high pitched, so I needed a new one. Just received it today, and it exceeds my expectations. Fairly low but nice, strong tone, medium strength, I would definitely recommend this reed.
