With the Third Hand covering the holes normally covered by B, C and D fingers of the bottom hand, this allows you to have a free hand and tune drones easily.
Then simply remove the Third Hand from your pipe chanter and you can start to play. It is a must for every piper!
Q:
How do you use this when tuning your drones? Some have suggested a piece of tape works just as well...

A:
This covers the D, C, an B holes so that you can use your right hand to tune your drones to a tru low A. Yes, you could use a piece of tape vertically on these holes but I would think that it could move any tape that you may have on any of those individual note holes.
