I used an Easy Reed, pretty stable but I would recommend a medium. I found that seating the EZ tended to cause the reed halves to slide slightly off center. Still got great sound and pitches, just seemed too delicate.

Good reed
This reed was recommended by John for my newly acquired MacLellan Bb chanter. After a few weeks of playing the reed settled down, and the chanter comes in at a perfect 466. Requires very little tape. I am happy with the reed.
