This chanter feels comfortable in the hands, nicely balanced. Plays well, low G sounds nice especially with grips, doublings etc. I use gibson practice chanter reeds, the reed that came with it was too substandard for me. Even pitches all the way up and down the scale.

Good hole spacing and countersink

I went from an RG Hardie Twist Trap to this PC. The difference between the two come down to the feeling while playing. They both sound great. But the McCallum sold me due to added pressure behind the note holes and the larger countersink holes simulating a real bagpipe chanter. The ivory is nice and the profiling of the sole is slimmer than the RG which is more aesthetically pleasing. Good chanter!

Q: how long will it take to ship to N.Y.

Q: So I'd like to get this one with the kit (Highland Book and reeds) along with a soft case but I don't see that option online yet its mention in the video How do I order this? Thanks
