The MacLellan reed is an outstanding reed for the Piobaireachd player, produces a great Piobaireachd high G as well as a rich, full bodied tone!

Solo piper
I have been using another popular reed for years but I ordered this reed to see how it performs. I use a ABM Naill chanter which is a little persnickity about reeds. This reed was perfect out of the box. Tunes right up to a nice tight 480, but the sound was still rich and not skirly. If it holds up, I will be switching reeds! Time will tell how long I can make it last as it is not ridge cut like what I previously played. Great reed

Nice and bright, clean top hand. A little flat on the F, but it blew in nicely.
