Q: Hi, Which reed would you recommend for this A440 chanter? I ask as I'm manufacturing Medieval bagpipes that play at A440. We use the Shepherd moulded reeds, but from experience the Shepherd reeds tend to be too sharp and cause compromises in the tuning of the chanters.
