Fitting your bagpipe with a water trap is absolutely essential to reduce the amount of moisture getting to your reeds. It also reflexes your hot, moist breath to the back of the bag and away from your reeds. ??The Moisture Tube has been specifically designed as an effective, lightweight, moisture control system that works without the use of silica gels.

This a great addition to a non zippered hide bag, very effective at reducing moisture. Only drawback is the stock is not deep enough to accommodate the blowpipe if you are using a moose valve.

Q:
I have a leather bag without a zipper. I would like to keep my pipes as stock as possible. will this work without having to remove the blowpipe stock from the bag? I currently use a "Little Mac" valve but was going to change to a Moose valve. Is this compatible? Thank you!

This item would be used in place of your current blowpipe stock. Generally, there isn't enough room in a split stock for the blowpipe hemped tenon, the tube connector for the water trap, and the moose valve.
