Good reed

I use a Colin Kyo Chanter, and have found this to be a great match for it. Gives a much sharper more vibrant tone than many of the other reeds I’ve used. No reed manipulation was necessary, and they tune quite easily. I’ve also found them to be very consistent from reed to reed.

I have used Chesney Warnock reeds for years and have found that they last well if cared for, and tune quickly and hold tuning. They break in fairly quickly and do not need sanding, or manipulation very often.

excellent reeds,easy to set,last fairly long we’re using Warnock chanters, so the reeds match up well,i’ve experimented with every reed on the market,these are the right fit for us

Q: Is the Chesney chanter reed the copper staple, or the brass staple? I understand the brass staple ones are sharper on the high hand. Thanks!
