A:
Yes, a standard bagpipe chanter will fit. You may need to add or subtract a little hemp to create a tight fit.

Q:
I ordered a pressure gauge from Apps and when I place it on my chanter, the reed gets chipped. Will this do the same? How can I fix this issue?

A:
I think that the gauge that you currently have will do the job. My guess is that the gauge it's self is screwed too far into the body of the blowpipe top. If you look inside the top, unscrew the gauge a bit, you will be able to make that sensor at the end of the gauge flush with the inside of the blowpipe top. You may find that the gauge is now a bit loose, you should just add a bit of Teflon tape to tighten it up.
