Replacement Silica Gels for the Bannatyne Complete Moisture Control System, and the Bannatyne Dri Flo Moisture Control System. @ 5.5oz per order. These Gels turn dark when moist and can be dried out by placing in a low temperature oven for a few hours time. Placing in a microwave can cause the gels to crack and become less effective.

What is the exact best way to dry out the gels? thank you. Joanne

A:
The best way to dry them out would be to pour the gels in a large baking sheet and place them in an oven at the lowest temperature setting. This may take an hour or so, but it is much better than using a microwave oven. If you heat them up too quickly, the moisture trapped inside the beads will boil and crack them.

How many replacement packets is enough to fill up two ross canisters. I usually dump out the generic clay litter and replace it with freshstep cat crystals. I think this will be a better alternative.

One bag of Bannatyne Silica should fit 1 Ross canister.
