Balance Tone High Resonance Drone Reed

I have an old set of bagpipes with which I am using a modern, higher pitched chanter. I have encountered difficulty finding synthetic drone reeds which do not require adjusting the drone tuning slides significantly below the hemp line to achieve the higher pitch. The HR3 reeds achieve this easily. The new clear bridle is more flexible and is the easiest to fine tune for strength that I have encountered. Sound quality is excellent. Reed chamber length is easily and accurately adjustable for pitch without resort to a tuning screw. I highly recommend this well thought out product
