This handy item allows you to perfect steady blowing. It has all the benefits of the Airstream blowpipe including the measuring gauge and built-in adapter. This gauge allows the air pressure in the bag to be measured. The gauge is easy to read as it is in your site of view.
Q:
I have a moose valve in so I think this manometer is only going to measure the strength of my blowing -- is that rights? Can it measure the pressure in my bag which is what is going to drive all the reeds?

A:
The Moose valve would preclude you from using this manometer properly...It would only measure the air pressure between the moose valve and the dial.

Q:
Is this manometer set up easier to use that the long tube that seems to be recommended by various instructors? The idea is an 8 foot tube hanging off a door doesn't excite. This looks like I could us eat anywhere. What feedback have you had from pipers on this product?

A:
We are going to roll out a new manometer design….it is a blowpipe that has the dial attached to it…below the valve which will properly measure the pressure…no hoses…very mobile.
