AirStream Tilt Blowpipe - This blowpipe is designed for ultimate
comfort. It is fully adjustable in both length and angle. The Tilt comes
in both mounted and unmounted. It has a 3/8" bore, built in valve, and a
mouthpiece is included. Approximate range extension is a range of 9.25" - 12.6".

Air Stream adjustable blow stick

I purchased this product to help with posture and comfort issues in playing the pipes, and it is absolutely awesome and has really helped all of the above.

I accidentally broke my previous mouthpiece which was 12 years old. I replaced it with this one and it works like a charm. No problems at all. I would highly recommend this mouthpiece to any piper. I like the fact that it pivots and you can adjust it.

A: Airstream includes an oval mouthpiece with this blowpipe, but if you like, we can substitute a round mouthpiece.

Q: This blow pipe has a built-in air valve. Assuming it will fail at some point and is replaceable, is there an available replacement (e.g. a standard 'flap,' etc.)?

A: Yes, the Airstream replacement valve would be used if you need to replace the valve on a "Tilt" blowpipe. The hemped tenon, that goes into the blowpipe stock, unscrews to reveal the valve for cleaning and replacement.
