Q: How should I measure my blowpipe at home to find the measurement that best fits the sizes of the airstream blowpipe?
A: If you have an existing blowpipe that is the proper length and you would like to just get an Airstream blowpipe to replace it...measure from the bottom of the projecting mount (not including the hemped area that fits into the stock) to the tip of the mouthpiece! If you are trying to decide what length you need, I can send you an adjustable blowpipe to help you figure out the ideal length and then measure that.
Q: I need help deciding what size Airstream Blowpipe to order. I'm wondering if getting a shorter blowpipe than the one I've been using (an Airstream adjustible blowpipe at its shortest length) will help me keep my bag tighter under my arm. Also, my current blowpipe pokes the roof of my mouth; very uncomfortable.
A: What is the current length on the mouthpiece that you are using?
Q: Does the length include the hemp joint?
A: The blowpipe length does not include the hemped tenon that goes into the blowpipe stock.
Q: I own an Airstream blow stick, but I want to replace the latex protective tip. Do you sell replacements?
Q: I currently have a telescopic/adjustable blowpipe that came with my McCallums that I put an Airstream mouth piece on. The blowpipe is the kind that you can tilt. I want to get a straight one. When I straighten the blowpipe out with the mouthpiece in the position I play in it comes to 11”. Would I purchase one of these blowpipes in the 11” size? Or have to make up the difference somewhere due to the fact that my current one tilts?
